Personal Reflection

The project has been a success after spending much time getting the songs to sound good. I have learned a lot from working with Dan, we were communicating effectively to keep his vision in mind. I have become more competent at using Protools and have honed my skills as a music producer and recording and mixing engineer. My artist liaison skills have been vastly improved throughout this project. I successfully helped Dan to develop his material from being just vocals and an acoustic guitar, to something which has nice bass lines and percussion arrangements. I have also learned a lot about the A and R process, something which I was not really familiar with at the start of this project. Overall I am happy with the result of the project and look forward to working with more musicians in the industry!
